It wasn't until the dead carcass part that I realized I had read this one before.

The movie "Teeth" came out about 2 months after my story "jesus' vagina" was published in TJ. My friends tell me there's a resemblance. I've yet to see the movie.

Matt, do you send any nominations to pushcart?

(Matt, do you send any nominations to pushcart?)

I gave them a call once to see if electronic publications were considered and they never called back, so fuck them.

Off topic, but just wanted to say that I really dug Ty Bluesmith's piece.

i'm pretty sure a few electronic magazines have claimed to have pushcart winners and nominees. but why not, fuck them. those fuckers.

welcome back to j hyde.

i wonder if he's fat... i wonder if i'll ever like alcohol that much..

his poems i like. i think they're good. they're not trying too hard. they're what they are and they are successful no matter what they are about.

They do accept electronic nominations if you print the piece out and send it to them with the nomination. Since I gave you that info, I'd like the nomination this year.
